Getting Around Lake Como
Rental Cars
The easiest way to get around Lake Como is by rental car. The roads are narrow and parking is limited, so it is best to rent a smaller vehicle.
Wedding Day Driving Service
We will provide a driving service on the wedding day to pick you up and drop you off. The service area, shown on the map below, extends south from Palazzo Gallio along the western shore of Lake Como down to Lenno. If you choose accommodation outside this area, you will need to arrange your own transportation.
Taxis
Taxis are very limited around Lake Como — there are only 54 taxis serving the entire lake — and rideshare services do not operate in the area. This is especially true during peak season, when the wedding will take place. If you plan to use a taxi, be sure to book well in advance.
